<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably fit a press-fitted contact with a mating connector by preventing a tip side of the contact from rising. <P>SOLUTION: In a connector 101, a contact 110 is press-fitted with a terminal press-fit hole 3 of a housing 2 from a rear side, and an electric contact part 115 on a tip side of each contact 110 is inserted and arranged in a terminal arrangement groove 5 of a surface of a thin plate shaped insulator part 4 integrally projecting at a front part of the housing. Arc-shaped curved convex parts 120 press-fitted with an upper wall 3a of the terminal press-fit hole 3 are provided at plural portions separated in a longitudinal direction of the contact on an upper surface of a press-fit fixing part 111 of the contact by forming concave push-in parts 121 on a lower surface 110b of the contact. The curved convex parts 120 are spaced from each other on both ends in a lateral width direction on the upper surface of the contact, and a flat part is remained as a non-deformation part between the curved convex parts on the both ends.
