<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which provides high reliability against a shock to an exterior member covering a hinge unit signal line and which considers occurrence of electromagnetic noise caused by a liquid crystal display unit, in an imaging apparatus having a rotatable display device. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises; a body; a display device; a hinge unit which holds the display device rotatably; the exterior member which has a housing part for housing the display device; a signal line which transmits a signal of the display device; and a cover protector which protects the signal line.
