<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tamper device which allows a tamper bar installed on a road paving machine to be efficiently heated. <P>SOLUTION: A tamper device installed on a screed device of a road paving machine comprises a tamper bar which can be vertically oscillated and an electric heating part which is connected to the tamper bar at a predetermined position and directly heats the damper bar. The predetermined position is located on a surface at the upper portion than the center in the vertical direction of the tamper bar. The damper bar is thus efficiently heated by the direct heating, and the predetermined position remote from the undersurface of the tamper bar prevents reduction in the abrasion resistance of the undersurface of the tamper bar. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
