<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that can drive a switching element so as not to damage the switching element even if an on-driving constant current circuit fails. <P>SOLUTION: A control circuit 128 regulates a current of an off-driving constant current circuit 122 if an on-driving constant current circuit 121 fails to cause a higher current than usual to flow to a gate of an IGBT 110d. This can regulate a current flowing to the gate of the IGBT 110d and a current extracted from the gate.
