<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waking support device by which a knee joint is prevented from being bent when a user becomes unable to support his/her body weight on his/her own. <P>SOLUTION: The walking support device 100 includes a thigh link 10, a crus link 20, first and second auxiliary links 30, 40, and a motor 55. The first auxiliary link 30 is connected to the thigh link 10 and the second auxiliary link 40 is connected to the crus link 20. The tip end of the first auxiliary link 30 is rotatably connected with the tip end of the second auxiliary link 40. At least one of the rotation center of the connection part of the thigh link and the first auxiliary link and the rotation center of the connection part of the crus link and the second auxiliary link is positioned backward more than the center line in the longitudinal direction of the leg passing through the knee joint rotation axis. Further, the walking support device is structured so that, when a user extends the knee, the rotation center of the connection part of the thigh link and the first auxiliary link, the rotation center of the connection part of the first auxiliary link and the second auxiliary link, and the rotation center of the connection part of the crus link and the second auxiliary link are arranged in a line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
