PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to prevent lubricant fluid from being scattered by an extension portion wherein the lubricant fluid is leaked from a taper sealing unit. CONSTITUTION: A rotor case(120) is combined with a shaft. A sleeve(130) is arranged in a lower part of the rotor case. The sleeve supports the shaft. The sleeve and the rotor case form a taper sealing unit. The taper sealing unit reduces leakage of lubricant fluid. The taper sealing unit is formed by an upper surface of the sleeve and a lower surface of the rotor case.
