A beverage maker, comprising an upwardly open receptacle 1 with a receptacle bottom 12, a circumferential side wall 13 and an upper opening, a receptacle holder 13 at least partially embracing the side wall of the receptacle, and an insert 3 which is inserted into the upper opening in the receptacle 1 and projects into the receptacle 1. The receptacle holder 13 comprises a side wall with a region forming at least one element which protrudes upward over the upper edge of the receptacle. The receptacle holder 13 further comprises a first engagement structure 26. The insert 3 comprises at least one second engagement structure 34 which interacts with the first engagement structure 26 in such a manner that the insert 3 is releasably lockable in relation to the receptacle holder 13 by means of a rotational movement. The protruding region of the receptacle holder 13 which acts as the first engagement structure 26 comprises at least one groove on its inner surface area.
