<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device of a semiconductor element capable of correctly discriminating which is under a protective operation state among a plurality of protection circuits based on a pulse width. <P>SOLUTION: A drive device separately drives a semiconductor element composing power conversion equipment. The drive device includes: a plurality of protection circuits 32 to 34 that detect information necessary for performing a protection operation of the semiconductor element; an alarm signal output circuit 35 in which pulse signals having different pulse widths are set for each plurality of protection circuits, and that outputs a pulse signal corresponding to the protection circuit that firstly detected the need of protection operation among the plurality of protection circuits during the period in which necessity of the protection operation is detected, as an alarm signal; and a notification signal output circuit 36 that outputs one pulse corresponding to the set pulse width as a protection operation notification signal when an alarm signal is output from the alarm signal output circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
