<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance production method of a catalyst paste for fuel cell having a small individual difference in performance. <P>SOLUTION: The production apparatus comprises a wet jet mill 1, a solution supply unit 3, and a controller 5. The wet jet mill 1 produces a first ground product by grinding a first mixture of a catalyst and water. The wet jet mill 1 also produces a second ground product by mixing the first ground product and a solution of a polymer electrolyte supplied from the solution supply unit 3. The controller 5 controls the wet jet mill 1 to knead the second ground product while adjusting the viscosity thereof.
