The device has a receiving opening (2) with a receiving body (3) partially received in a cylindrical, non-threaded sensor (1). An attachment element (4) e.g. spring collar, is radially arranged on the sensor under pressure when the attachment element is pushed onto the sensor and inserted into the receiving body of the receiving opening. The attachment element consists of a fastening ring (5) and a set of mounting tabs (6) axially extending from the fastening ring, where the mounting tabs have an external thread (9) e.g. sleeve fitting. The fastening ring is designed corresponding to a hexagon nut. An independent claim is also included for a cylindrical, non-threaded sensor.
