<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make appropriate memory access being performed in the case where an image processing part is connected with an image memory via a system bus to perform motion detection. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: an image processing part 16 for calculating a motion vector of each block between image data of a target frame and image data of a reference frame; a reference frame image memory 40 for holding image data of a past frame as image data of a reference frame for processing performed in the image processing part 16; a primary memory 16a for holding a matching processing range of a reference frame when calculation in the image processing part 16 is performed; and a secondary memory 60 for reading out the image data of a necessary range from the image data of the reference frame stored in the reference frame image memory 40 to hold the image data, and for reading out data of a matching processing range from the held image to supply the data of the matching processing range to the primary memory 16a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
