<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece conveyor capable of performing predetermined detection or measurement for a workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: The workpiece conveyor includes: a guide rail 2 disposed horizontally; a traveling element 4 running along the guide rail 2; a lift 6 provided on the traveling element 4 to be capable of moving up/down; a loader head 7 provided at the lower end of the lift 6; a chuck 8 provided to the loader head 7 for grasping the workpiece; a rotation phase changing mechanism 13 for turning the loader head 7 around an axis O in a direction where the lift 6 moves up/down; detecting and measuring means 50A, 50B and 50C disposed at fixed positions for performing the predetermined detection or measurement for the workpiece W grasped by the chuck 8; and a control means 40 for controlling the rotation phase changing mechanism 13 to turn the loader head 7 for the purpose of the detection or measurement by the detecting and measuring means 50A, 50B and 50C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
