<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an ink waste liquid remaining on a nozzle forming surface is drawn into a nozzle by negative pressure in the nozzle, and the other color ink is mixed in ink in the nozzle by pushing the ink waste liquid into the nozzle when the ink waste liquid is wiped out. <P>SOLUTION: In an inkjet recording apparatus which includes a wiping unit 205 that is arranged in a cap and wipes out ink at the periphery of a nozzle opening by moving the inside of the cap in a state that the cap comes into contact with a recording head 30 and a control device serving as a control means, the control device drives a suction pump 19 in a state that the cap comes into contact with the recording head 30 to discharge ink from the recording head 30 and then drives the suction pump 19 so that pressure in the recording head 30 and pressure in the cap may become the same while maintaining contact between the recording head 30 and the cap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
