METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REPORTING AVAILABLE POWER OF USER EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: A method for reporting available power of a terminal and a device thereof are provided to enable the terminal using various wireless communication techniques to efficiently report an available power amount that a target system can use even though a power amount dynamically and frequently changes. CONSTITUTION: A terminal determines whether up-spike of an available power amount occurs when down spike of the available power amount does not occur(703,704). When the up-spike of the available power amount occurs, the terminal determines whether a power report prohibit timer operates(705). When the power report prohibit timer does not operate, the terminal performs a power report operation about current available power(706).
