<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable work at the inside of an engine through a work window without pulling out a piston from a cylinder when replacing a connecting rod bearing metal, and shorten the working time for replacing the bearing metal. <P>SOLUTION: A piston moving up/down jig 20 includes: a receiving member 22 consisting of a shaft member 23 and seat parts provided on the circumference of the shaft member 23, the shaft member supported at both ends between engagement concave portions 18 of a pair of balance weights 8 positioned to an axis line direction of the piston 6 to be checked by rotation of a crankshaft 2 and having regulating plates 24a and 24b to restrict movement in the axial direction; an actuator supported on the seat part at the lower end and moving up an actuating rod; and a piston holding part for supporting the lower surface of a boss 6c of a piston skirt 6a while being mounted on the top of the actuating rod. A connecting rod supporting jig is to be installed on a frame 12 in the inside of an engine body 3 through a fastening bolt, and has engaging parts provided at the top of a support plate extending toward a connection member 9 to engage with the connection member 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
