PURPOSE: A communication service providing method using a subscriber identification module for users who have the same ID are provided to use two or more kinds of terminals by using a USIM(Universal Subscriber Identity Module) card of the same ID. CONSTITUTION: A terminal recognizes the operation state of the terminal(310). The terminal compares the recognition information with the user's own terminal model information(320). If the data for the user's terminal is suitable, the terminal configures an active mode(330,340). The terminal performs communication service with a base station(350).
