<p>PURPOSE: A display device is provided to implement various display modes according to use or situation by switching first and second display parts and a shutter-type shielding unit arranged between the first and second display parts. CONSTITUTION: A first display part(14) comprises pixels including double-sided light emitting elements. A second display part(18) includes a light-scattering liquid crystal layer. A shutter-type shielding unit(10) is formed between the first and second display parts. The first display part has transmissivity when the double-sided light emitting elements are in a non-emitting state. The second display part has transmissivity when the light-scattering liquid crystal layer is in a transmissive state.</p> |
