PURPOSE: A safety locking device for a cabinet having a simple structure is provided to enable users to easily manipulate, and to prevent infants from opening the cabinet. CONSTITUTION: A safety locking device for a cabinet includes a main body(110), a flexible fixing band(120), and a locking member(130). The main body includes an inter space for partially receiving the flexible fixing band. The flexible fixing band penetrates the main body, and includes a first end fixed to the main body and a second end exposed to the outside of the main body. The locking member is mounted on the main body for preventing the movement of the first end changing the length of the second end. The locking member includes a coupling element, a spring, and a pressing element.
