<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capping device prevented from increasing waste liquid openings, in a capping device including a cap formed with a rib in a bottom part, and to provide a liquid jetting device including the same. <P>SOLUTION: In this capping device including a bottomed box-like cap 31 having an opening at one-side ends of sidewalls of the bottomed box-like cap 31 having the opening at one-side ends of the annularly formed short sidewalls 33 and long sidewalls 34 and having a bottom part at the other-side ends thereof, and the bottom part at the other-side ends thereof, a waste liquid opening 36a for discharging liquid entered from the opening, and a rib 40 located at a position having at least a part partially planarly overlapping the waste liquid opening 36a when viewed from the opening side and extended to connect two facing wall surfaces of the long sidewalls 34 to each other are formed on the bottom part 42B; and a communication hole penetrating in the width direction crossing the extension direction of the rib 40 and communicating with the waste liquid opening is formed on the rib 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
