<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device with a high versatility capable of continuously emitting fluorescent light in terms of time while reducing a speckle. <P>SOLUTION: A light source device according to the present invention comprises: a substrate 41 disposed in a rotatable manner about a predetermined rotational axis 48; a light emitting section 45 disposed in an annular region around the rotational axis 48 on the substrate 41; a first light diffusing layer 46 disposed in the annular region, in which the first light diffusing layer 46 is not overlapped with the light emitting section 45 around the rotational axis 48 on the substrate 41 as viewed in a plan view; and a light source section 10 for emitting light including excitation light and light made incident to the first light diffusing layer 46.
