Disclosed are a method and device for security isolation. The method comprises: when a relay device receives a handoff request message, if the handoff request message contains therein reestablishment information for another cell, then when a user equipment is successfully handed off to a cell of the relay device or is successfully reestablished in the cell of the relay device, the relay device requesting a piece of key information from core network equipment. In embodiments of the present invention, the probability of successful reestablishment during UE handoff is increased, and the probability of handoff failure is reduced, also, as the key is isolated, communication security of the user is ensured. |
