<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thermal transfer image receiving sheet that is excellent in each performance of mold releasability, moisture resistance and heat resistance, and image density etc. of a printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the thermal transfer image receiving sheet includes: a step of forming a heat insulating layer on the base material by using the water-base coating liquid containing the hollow particles; and a step of forming the receiving layer on the heat insulating layer by using the water-based dispersion coating liquid obtained by emulsifying the solvent-based solution which includes the solvent-based polyvinyl chloride resin and the solvent-based release agent in the water-based solution that does not substantially contain the gelatin. The thermal transfer image receiving sheet manufactured by this manufacturing method is excellent in each performance of the mold releasability, the moisture resistance and heat resistance, the image density etc. of the printed matter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
