<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manifold plate and a filtration apparatus including the manifold plate which can prevent macromolecules, including proteins or nucleic acids in a fluid, from passing through a filtration medium. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the manifold plate 11A and the filtration apparatus including the manifold plate 11A which comprises a body 25 having a mounting region on the exterior of the body and first and second fluid channels 32, 33 extending within the body 25. The mounting region 26 has at least one first opening and at least one second opening. At least one first fluid passageway 40 fluidly couples the first opening to the first fluid channel 32 and at least one second passageway 41 fluidly couples the second opening to the second fluid channel 33.
