<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fitting with reduced electric resistance against an electric wire, and an electric wire with a terminal fitting. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of recesses 18 are formed on a face of a wire barrel 16, on which a core wire 13 is arranged, and a hole edge of the recess 18 comprises a pair of first hole edges 19 in parallel to each other. The plural recesses 18 are aligned at intervals along a direction, in which the first hole edge 19 extends, and aligned at intervals along a direction, in which an electric wire 11 extends.
