<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cubic boron nitride sintered body tool having excellent bonding strength so that the separation of the cubic boron nitride sintered body from a tool base material is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The cubic boron nitride sintered body tool is constructed by bonding a cubic boron nitride sintered body to a tool base material via a bonding layer. In an optional cut surface when the cubic boron nitride sintered body tool is cut, a concave/convex shape is formed on the surface of the cubic boron nitride sintered body, the area of the concave/convex shape is vertically divided into two equal parts, a straight line parallel to the bonding surface of the bonding layer and the tool base material is set as a reference line, a sum of the maximum value of a distance between the reference line and the maximum value of the concave/convex shape and the maximum value of a distance between the reference line and the minimum value of the concave/convex shape is a, and the maximum value of a distance in a reference line direction between the adjacent maximum values in the concave/convex shape is b.
