<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a longitudinal position adjusting device of a headrest, which is capable of reducing the number of part items, by maximally integrating a mechanism for longitudinally moving the headrest and a lock mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The longitudinal position adjusting device includes a lower bracket, an upper bracket fixed to an inner cover of the headrest, a front link and a rear link for moving the upper bracket along the longitudinal direction of a vehicle seat, and the lock mechanism for locking an longitudinal position of the upper bracket. The front link and the rear link are formed in a cross-sectional substantially U shape having an opening, and at least the front link is arranged by turning the opening forward. The lock mechanism includes a lock plate integrally arranged in an upper end of a sidewall of the front link and forming a plurality of locking holes and a lock pin part for operating for insertion and extraction to the plurality of locking holes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
