<p>Providing information to a caller associated with a call to a service provider using alternative media, i.e. a voice call is received and a communication session is established as an instant messaging session. The method includes: receiving, from the caller, the voice call to the service provider (158); determining that the voice call cannot be answered (160); responsive to the determination that the voice call cannot be answered, retrieving a first information from a web service associated with the service provider (162); and transmitting the first information to the caller (164).</p> |
