Method of re-establishing an interrupted communication connection between a first and a second subscriber (30,40) of a telecommunication network, wherein an auto-connect mechanism is triggered by a re-establishment attempt (80) of the first and/or of the second subscriber wherein the auto-connect mechanism redirects the re-establishment attempts of the first and/or of the second subscriber in such a manner that a communication connection (80') between the first and second subscriber is established.
In a second aspect, a method of re-establishing an interrupted communication connection between a first and a second subscriber includes monitoring an ongoing connection by the network and imitating re-establishment of the connection by the network in case of a detected connection loss.
