PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio transmitter using preamble signals for radio communication which enables highly accurate AGC and appropriate A/D conversion in a radio receiver for receiving signals transmitted from a plurality of transmission antennas.

SOLUTION: Signal generation means for generating signals for transmitting a radio packet is provided. The radio packet includes: a first preamble for first automatic gain control (AGC:Auto Gain Control) in the radio receiver; a second preamble for frequency synchronization in the radio receiver; a third preamble for second AGC in the radio receiver to be executed after the first AGC; a fourth preamble for estimating a channel between the radio transmitter and the radio receiver; and a data field for carrying data.
