<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an image with high contrast is hard to be obtained in a method for performing mass analysis of protein of a biological tissue slice by a TOF-SIMS method after digesting and degrading the protein to constitute a two-dimensional distribution image of the protein by using a signal of a theoretical digestion segment. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an information acquisition method for performing mass analysis of protein or peptide in a sample to acquire information regarding a distribution state of the protein or the peptide in the sample based on mass information acquired by the mass analysis, in which the information acquisition method has a process of acquiring the mass information regarding the distribution state by using an ion peak which has intensity distribution of which the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient is 0.5 or more and 1.0 or less to intensity distribution of a parent ion of the protein or the peptide, each of which is limited/decomposed, in a fixed area and peak intensity of an integrated spectrum, and in which peak intensity ratio of the integrated spectrum of the fixed area is larger than 1.0, and m/z is 500 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
