The invention relates to an installation and a method for producing hollow bodies by injection moulding and subsequent blow moulding. The installation comprises an injection-moulding tool with at least one cavity for producing a preform (3) having a neck continuation (18) and a hollow body part (22) adjoining the neck continuation (18), a blow mould for shaping the hollow body from the preform (3) and transfer means (7) for transporting the preform (3) from the injection-moulding tool to the blow mould. The transfer means (7) comprises a carrying frame (9), in which at least one holding element (10) for the at least one preform (3) is arranged. When transferring the preform (3) from the opened injection-moulding tool to the transfer means (7), the preform (3) is held on the outside of its neck continuation (18) by a tool part of the injection-moulding tool and is thereby removed from the cavity. The preform (3) is then placed with the inside of its neck continuation (18) onto the holding element (10), such that the holding element (10) bears against an inner surface of the neck continuation (18). |
