<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component supply apparatus, an electronic component mounting machine and a component supply method that suppress an electronic component feed failure and suction failure when feeding the first electronic component. <P>SOLUTION: A component supply apparatus 4 includes: a tape 40 having feed holes 400b and component storage sections 400a for storing electronic components P1; and a drive member 43 that has protrusions 430 inserted in the feed holes 400b with play L2 and that engages the protrusions 430 in the feed holes 400b and transmits driving force to feed the tape 40 forward until feeding the electronic components P1 to a component supply position B1. Before the first electronic component P1 is fed to the component supply position B1, the protrusions 430 are moved forward by a correction distance L3 equal to or longer than the play L2 to abut forward ends of the protrusions 430 on forward ends of the feed holes 400b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
