<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge electrode for an ionizer, which is capable of preventing scattering of fine metal particles by preventing wear of a needle electrode and is capable of increasing stability of ion generation by stable discharge. <P>SOLUTION: A discharge electrode 100 for an ionizer is formed by laminating a foundation plating layer 3 on a tip surface of a base metal 1 constituting a needle electrode and by laminating a surface-layer metal 2 on a surface of the foundation plating layer 3. The base metal 1 is tungsten or a tungsten alloy, and the surface-layer metal 2 is rhodium or iridium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
