<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store data in a projector while keeping confidentiality of the data and perform projection display of the stored data while maintaining confidentiality of the data. <P>SOLUTION: When a transfer request of a file from a personal computer PC to a projector 10 is raised by drag-and-drop of a file icon toward a projector icon, a CPU 50 requires setting of a password. The CPU 50 associates the set password with the file, and transfers it to an external storage of the projector 10. When playing the file in the projector 10, the projector 10 requires input of the password associated to the file.
