<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve usability in a paper cassette of a multistage structure equipped with a lower stage side tray and an upper stage side tray. <P>SOLUTION: The paper cassette 100 is a paper cassette of a multistage structure equipped with the lower stage side tray 50 and the upper stage side tray 60 that can be slidably displaced between a feeding position and a retracted position above the lower stage side tray 50. The paper cassette 100 is configured in such a manner that the upper stage side tray 60 can be attached to and detached from the lower stage side tray 50 so that, by detaching the upper stage side tray 60, the number of sheets that can be accommodated in the lower stage side tray 50 can be increased, thereby further improving the usability in using the lower stage side tray 50. By detaching the upper stage side tray 60, a space for accommodating sheets in the lower stage side tray 50 is exposed completely, thereby further improving workability in accommodating sheets in the lower stage side tray 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
