Vehicle windows ; frames.-The sliding panels of vehicle and like windows are unframed and have the opposite edges which are transverse to the direction of movement provided with abutments which are connected to each other by thin strips 7. Preferably the strip 7 is connected to a lug on the channel 5 of the lower edge and is bent over the opposite edge with rubber or like packing 9 interposed. The glass is cut away for the securing bolt 10. The strip 7 is preferably bent inwardly at 12 to the surface of the panel. An L-section bracket 13 secured to the channel 5 forms part of the regulating means.</p> |
