LIGHT GUIDE PLATE AND BACKLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: A light guide plate and a backlight unit assembly are provided to improving durability of the light guide plate by reducing thermal conductivity by an air layer of aerogel. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate includes PMMA(PolyMethyl MethAcrylate) and an aerogel particle dispersed within the PMMA. The thermal conductivity of the light guide plate is 170-198 mW/(moK). The thermal conductivity of the aerogel particle is 20 mW/(moK) or less. The aerogel particle is a hydrophobicity silica aerogel particle.
