The invention relates to a method for stimulating root genesis in shoots of mother plants of vegetatively propagated parent stocks of stone fruit crops, which comprises planting parent stocks by the horizontal method, cutting shoot apices and ridging the mother plants. In doing so three cuttings are carried out with simultaneous spraying of the plants with a rooting stimulant and the following ridging with a moistened substrate or earth. The method allows to provide a higher density of arranging the shoots in a mother plantation, prevents the shoots from overgrowing, provides for better rooting thereof and high output of standard plantouts per a unit of area. |
