PURPOSE: An auto guided vehicle and method for controlling the same is provided to secure an excellent detection performance with appropriate costs by exactly detecting a plurality of two dimensional obstacle signals from an ultrasound sensor. CONSTITUTION: A sense unit(100) outputs a sensing signal detecting obstacles on a guided route. The sense unit includes a plurality of ultrasound sensors(110) and laser sensors(120). A storage unit(30) stores prior set-up reference data to judge transferred obstacles on the guided route. A control unit(20) judges whether to avoid the guided route or not based on the sensing signal and prior set-up reference data. A calculation unit(40) calculates a relative coordinate with obstacles on driving direction according to a calculation control signal of the control unit. |
