PURPOSE: A game server for providing items and a method thereof are provided to facilitate enhancement of general items by changing enhancement items to provide various types and grades of enhancement items. CONSTITUTION: An item providing unit(210) provides user terminals(100) with items. An item application request unit(230) receives item application request signals from the user terminals. An item application unit(250) applies items, receiving the application request signals, according to a predetermined item application condition.
