PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for monitoring the spheroidizing treatment are provided to guarantee a quality of the spheroidizing by building a database of the spheroidizing images. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus and a method for monitoring the spheroidizing treatment comprise a filming unit(120) and a controller. The filming unit films the insides of ladles(130), which treat the spheroidizing of graphite in cast iron. The controller determines whether the spheroidizing of the graphite is treated or not by a flame reaction during the spheroidizing. The filming unit placed in the ladles films each ladles. The controller distinguishes the images of the ladles by the identification number applied to the ladles. The controller determines whether the graphite in the ladles is heat-treated or not.
