<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component from which heat can be dissipated reliably and efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: At least a portion of a coil is buried in a soft magnetic core, and when one plane including the central axis of coil winding is a reference plane, a heat transfer member comes into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the coil in a region where the angle from the central axis to the reference plane is equal to or less than W.
