<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyedrop medicine compounded with pranoprofen, in which precipitation and white turbidity are not caused even when chlorobutanol is used as an antiseptic agent and the chlorobutanol is stably held over time. <P>SOLUTION: The eyedrop medicine is produced through (a) a step to dissolve the pranoprofen by adjusting the pH to ≥6.5 with a pH adjuster to obtain an aqueous solution of pranoprofen, (b) a step to add a water-soluble polymer, sugar, sugar alcohol or their aqueous solution to the aqueous solution of pranoprofen and homogeneously mixing them, (c) a step to adjust the pH of the aqueous solution obtained by the step (b) to 5 to <6.5 with a pH adjuster, and (d) a step to add the chlorobutanol to the aqueous solution obtained by the step (c). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
