The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing polyurethane urea, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a polyurethane urea elastic yarn having excellent power, by manufacturing a prepolymer at a capping ratio of 1.50-1.60, using glycol having a low number-average molecular weight of 800-1300 Daltons and diisocyanate, obtaining a polyurethane urea polymer by adding a chain extender to the prepolymer, and then agitating the polyurethane urea polymer to age and spin the obtained polyurethane urea spinning solution.
