[Also in Group XXIV] In a roller bearing for the cross-piece of a universal joint for example, rollers 3, Fig. 1, are prevented from moving axially by radial faces 2b of a bearing-bush 2 and are intermediate a pin 1 and said bush 2, the latter having a washer 4 of synthetic plastics material recessed therein for engagement with the pin 1. In another embodiment the washer 4, Fig. 2, is held centrally by a tube 5 inserted into a lubricating duct 1a of the pin 1. The tube may be replaced by a pin having external lubricating grooves therein.
