<p>Provided is a label attaching device, which is capable of aligning, without reversing a paper liner feeding mechanism, the leading edge of an adhesive label with a reference position, without peeling the adhesive label from a paper liner, in the case where a state wherein the leading edge of the adhesive label temporarily adhered to the paper liner has passed a predetermined reference position is generated. A label attaching device (1), which peels an adhesive label (2) from a paper liner (3) having a plurality of adhesive labels (2) temporarily adhered thereto, and which attaches the adhesive label to a medium (4) to which the label is to be attached, is provided with a label peeling mechanism (12), which peels the adhesive label (2) from the paper liner (3) by bending the paper liner (3) between a paper liner supply section (8) and a paper liner recovery section (9). The label peeling mechanism (12) is provided with a movable member (31), which can move between a bending position where the paper liner (3) is bent such that the adhesive label (2) is peeled from the paper liner (3), and a bend relaxing position where the bent state of the paper liner (3) is relaxed such that the adhesive label (2) is not peeled from the paper liner (3).</p> |
