<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external fixation system for holding mutually adjacent bone pieces by the help of a fixing element. <P>SOLUTION: The fixation clamp 10 includes at least one clamp assembly 20, 30, and at least one locking element 40 extending through the clamp assembly. The clamp assembly includes at least one storage part 71, 73 and stores the fixing element along the longitudinal axis of the storage part. The locking element provides clamping force for clamping the fixing element when tension is applied to the locking element. The fixation clamp includes an operating element coming in contact with the fixing element, and the fixing element is operable using the operating element.
