PURPOSE: A system and a method for estimating shapes and characteristics of discharged materials in rolling wire rods are provided to increase calculating speed and accurately estimate characteristics of discharged materials with a numerical model. CONSTITUTION: A system for estimating shapes and characteristics of discharged materials in rolling wire rods(100) comprises a shape calculating module(110), a displacement calculating module(120), and a characteristic calculating module(130). The shape calculating module calculates factors for determining the shape of discharged materials passing through a caliber by using an input shape and a caliber shape. The displacement calculating module estimates the shape of inserted materials by using the shape of the discharged materials and calculates the displacement of each part of the discharged materials. The characteristic calculation module calculates the characteristic of the materials by using the displacement of each part of the discharged materials. |
