The adjustable seat 05 has a hard, firm surface or surfaces 10, 45 designed to treat haemorrhoids. The hard, firm surface of the seat is designed to place positive pressure on the area surrounding a haemorrhoid so as to develop a negative pressure within the body which causes the body to draw the haemorrhoids back up into the body. The surfaces have at least one track into which a rail(s) 20, 25 fit to slidably attach the surfaces together. The seat may also comprise blocks (fig 2) configured to fit within the gap between the surfaces to make this gap smaller. The seat may also be a one-piece structure (fig 4) or in the shape of a toilet seat (figs 5 and 6), both of which have structures to accommodate the blocks. |
