<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for optical elements capable of molding an optical element having excellent appearance quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the mold K1 for optical elements in which a preform 1 is pressed between the molding surface 2a of a lower mold 2 and the molding surface 3a of an upper mold 3, the molds 2, 3 being inserted from both ends of a sleeve 4 and the preform 1 is molded, a porous body 5 with air permeability is fitted to each gas vent hole 4a formed in the sleeve 4, so that foreign substances are reliably prevented from intruding into the inside of the sleeve 4, whereby a molded article is prevented from deteriorating in appearance quality due to adhesion of foreign substances to the preform 1, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
